This is an excellent video as phoelem loading is something I have yet to come across in Biology yet I developed a solid understanding of the topic from this video. However I do not know how revelevant to the actual topic the video is.

Plants produce nutrients in their leaves at the source and they must be transported to the root sink. Phloem are connected to each other by sieve platesPhloem is the process where the carbohydrates come into the sieve tube at the source. This loading causes a high concentration of sugar developing the phloem near the source. Phloem loading causes a lower water potential in the source compared with adjacent xylem causing the water to move into the phloem via osmosis. This causes a high pressure to build and water transfers to sink. At the sink the minerals/ water enter the cells via atp.
