Welcome to Biological Science Advanced Studies. This site is designed for biology students of A-level, AS and A2, covering the related topics in Biology and Human Biology.
The 5 senses is controlled by the cortex; the outer layer of the brain. Thinking and ideas is also licked to the cortex. two thirds of the human neurones opperates in the cortex
i understand how neurons make up our 5 senses, but how does thinking work? the signals come from receptors for sight, sound, taste, etc.. but where do the signals come from when we think/imagine?
