    The electron microscope is first removed of air. The electron is beamed and inteferes with the specimen. The electrons are emitted by cathode and accelerate by annode, they absorb or pass through specimen and collected on florescent or film. The pictures are 3D and come in black and white.

    they are bounced off the sample
    the final image in 3D the maginfication is X100 000
    TEM
    the electron beam passes through the sample.
    electrons pass throgh the denser parts less easily giving contrast to the image
    the image is 2D
    maginfication is X500 000
